About Brenda Rosenfeld

I believe that the heart is not only a physical organ, but also deeply connected to love, connection, and emotional health.

In my clinical experience, most heart events have both a biological and emotional story behind them. Many of my clients have spent their lives caring for everyone else including their partners, children, parents, workplaces, communities, often at the expense of their own health.

Why work with me?

I am dedicated to helping you restore and protect your heart health using a whole-person approach that goes far beyond medication alone.

Pharmaceuticals can be lifesaving. However, I also believe they should not be the only focus of care. At the same time, I am very aware how society has come to accept illness and lifelong medication as “normal.” I want to show you that it does not have to be that way.

I was an Intensive Care registered nurse for 10 years. I loved being an ICU nurse and I absolutely love being a Naturopath. I feel privileged to be able combine my medical system training with my complementary therapies training. I bridge the divide between orthodox medicine and naturopathic medicine.

I support you to address the true underlying drivers of your heart disease, including inflammation, blood vessel health, nutrition, your stress, your lifestyle, and your emotional wellbeing.

A heart scare forces you to confront terrifying thoughts - What if I’m not here for my family? What if I never see my grandchildren grow up?

Again and again, I have witnessed that many people who experience significant heart events have also been carrying a form of emotional heartbreak. Sometimes it is obvious, grief, loss, betrayal, or trauma. Other times it is quieter through years of stress, self-neglect, people-pleasing, or feeling unsupported.

I work with you to help you feel safe again in your body, regain your confidence in your health, and reconnect with a life you feel truly present for.

I support your cardiovascular system with evidence-informed naturopathic care, while also guiding you back to yourself: back to rest, back to boundaries, back to self-worth, and back to connection.

For me, healing the heart is as much about repairing vessels as it is about repairing a sense of belonging, purpose, and self-love.

My work is deeply personal to me.

I grew up in a family profoundly impacted by heart disease. I lost all of my grandparents to heart-related conditions and lost my beloved father to a stroke in 2001 when he was just 58 years old.

With a strong family history of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, I was once told that cardiovascular disease was simply “in my genes” and a heart attack or stroke was inevitable.

I didn’t agree and have spent my life choosing a different path.

I want to share that path with as many people as I can, including you.

A family history does not have to equal destiny, and that high blood pressure, a high cholesterol reading and heart attacks, heart failure and strokes do not need to be inevitable outcomes.

I miss my dad and my grandparents every day.

Being able to support people in improving their heart and circulatory health, and potentially changing the course of their lives, feels deeply meaningful to me.
